Goodbye bland, boring corporate lectures. Hello interactive, brain-based workshops.

Bring neuroscience to your organization through engaging, action-oriented training programs.

Choose from four programs each centered on a key aspect of workplace inclusion and engagement: belonging, teamwork, fairness, and joy.

Each program includes five 2-hour workshops to provide an in-depth learning experience that prepares participants to apply brain-based strategies in their roles. Single sessions, custom combinations, and custom topics are also available to best meet your team’s needs.

Frequently asked questions about brain-based training

  • Both! Five-workshop programs and single sessions can be provided either virtually or in-person.

I’m based in Montreal, Canada and I love to travel. For any in-person events outside of Montreal, please note that travel-related fees may apply.

  • Brain research shows that collaborative and active learning helps us retain and apply what we learned. So these aren’t the “sit and listen for two hours” kind of training—our brains aren’t built for that!

Workshops include a combination of presentations to cover foundational concepts, individual activities to spark thoughts and ideas, and group interaction to foster shared growth. While the specific activities vary between topics, common formats include scenarios, creative brainstorming, written reflection, and structured discussion.

  • Yes! The training programs are designed to be accessible for people with a broad range of educational and professional backgrounds. No previous experience in neuroscience is needed.

All five-workshop programs have Intro to Brains as the first session, which will introduce the foundational concepts of neuroscience that we’ll build on in the later sessions.

  • Workshop content and materials are proactively designed with accessibility in mind. This includes, for example, providing captions, describing important images, offering both digital and paper versions of handouts (for in-person workshops), and offering multiple ways to participate (such as asking questions by writing or speaking).

While clients are responsible for the choice of in-person venue or virtual platform, I can support you in maximizing accessibility in the chosen space. In addition, client organizations are highly encouraged to invite sharing of any accessibility needs among workshop participants. I will work with you to meet any needs and maximize accessibility for all participants.

  • The recommended time for each five-workshop program is 8 weeks total, with workshops held every two weeks. This allows time for reflection and practice between the workshops.

Custom timelines are available to best fit your team’s needs and schedules.

  • The five-workshop program is highly recommended as it promotes in-depth learning and knowledge retention through repeated active participation and practice.

Single workshops and talks are also available to spark motivation and introduce neuroscience to your team.

  • Each five-workshop program includes:

    • Customization and facilitation of the five sessions including presentations, activities, and question periods.

    • A workbook to guide activity participation and serve as a reference after the program. Workbooks are provided in pdf format for virtual programs, and in both pdf and printed formats for in-person programs. Please note that workbooks are only provided for the five-workshop programs, not single sessions.

    • A copy of the workshop slides for personal use.

    • A resource list for further learning.

  • Pricing varies depending on several factors, including: whether the training will be provided virtually or in-person, the location (if in-person), and the number of participants.

Please contact me for a personalized quote.

  • In the five-workshop program, impact is measured through pre-post questionnaires. In addition, brief feedback surveys are provided at the end of each session.

For single sessions, a feedback survey is provided at the end of the session.

Organizations are encouraged to assess longer-term impact by inviting employees to share how they are implementing the learned strategies in their roles within the few months after training. If we work together on longer-term consulting projects, I can support this assessment.

  • Yes! Feel free to contact me to discuss further.
